Pricing and Services

Additional Services

Additional Services

  • Single Dog: $32 per overnight stay. If you pick your dog up after 10 am on the last day, you will be charged for an extra night.

  • Multiple Dogs: $32 for the first dog, $28 for the second dog and $25 for the third dog from the same household. Discount applies if the dogs can go stay in the same room together. The ability of the dogs to stay together will be up to our discretion. This will be based on our observation of any type of guarding,  redirecting, or food aggression behavior exhibited toward the other dog. If dogs who are staying together need to be fed separately, each dog will be charged the full fee ($32 per night), as it will require additional kennel space. Additional dogs (3 or more) will be discounted to $25 per night, only if they can stay in the same room and be fed with the other dogs. This also includes dogs that eat at a different pace (slow vs fast eaters). The second dog discount will apply ($28 per night) if they can stay with one of the other dogs.

  • Large and small sized dogs should not be kenneled together due to safety concerns. While we do have someone living on site, dogs are not monitored 24 hours per day.

  • Cats:  $20 per overnight stay. If you pick your cat up after 10 am on the last day, you will be charged for an extra day.

  • Daily Care:  $25 per day. Drop off as early as 8 am and pick up by 6 pm.  Please call for scheduling and details.

  •  Medications and special food options: No charge

  • Washing your dog’s bedding if needed: No charge

Bookings scheduled for 10 days or more or that total $500 or more, will require a 50% deposit prior to drop off.

We do not mingle groups of dogs at our kennel. Dogs will go out on their own or with their housemates only. This allows us to limit disease issues and to keep your dog safe from harmful dog interactions.

Boarding Policies

Pick Up and Drop off

Pick Up and Drop off

  •  WE DO NOT BOARD OR TRAIN DOGS WHO EXHIBIT AGGRESSION WITH PEOPLE OR DOGS THAT ARE EXTREMELY KENNEL AGGRESSIVE. This particularly includes fear aggression. If your dog bites at you when you put the collar on or as you try to lead them somewhere they are exhibiting aggressive behavior. We DO NOT accept this type of dog because dogs at our kennel must be handled to go in and out during the day. You should seek boarding care at a facility where they offer both inside and outside run areas.

  • We accept Senior dogs and cats as long as the are in good health. Dogs must have good mobility as they will need to go in and out in our yard at least 3 times per day.  Please be honest about your dog's current condition so we can decline a booking as we see fit.

  • We do not board dogs who have had recent surgeries or infections requiring that they wear E collars, bandaging, or other types of medical devices.

  •  All boarding is booked by RESERVATION ONLY. The balance can be paid by PayPal, Venmo, Cash, Credit Card or Check. Remaining balance will be due at check out.

  • Our facility has a number of room sizes varying from 4 ft by 4 ft rooms for small dogs to 6 ft by 8 ft family suites in order to accommodate many different breeds and types of dogs. The kennel buildings are made of cement block with block walls between the rooms. Each kennel building is climate controlled with heating and air conditioning, and each room is designed for individual privacy with plenty of natural light.

  • We offer a large, outside exercise yard so each dog can spend 10-15 minutes three times per day outside, weather permitting. At night, we leave soft lighting on with a radio playing to calm nervous dogs. Dogs will be housed in an inside room which is appropriately sized for their comfort.

  • We recommend bringing your dog's own food (please use an airtight, waterproof container labeled with feeding instructions) and a toy or item from home to help your dog feel more comfortable in the new environment. A refrigerator is on site to accommodate special food requests. We have beds, fleece blankets, and stainless steel water buckets and food dishes at the kennel. All dog runs and shared items are disinfected between occupants.

  • You may provide bedding if it can fit in a standard washing machine.

  • No large, stuffed beds will be accepted.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!

  • Please do not bring stuffed toys. Nylabones, Benebones, or Kong toys are recommended.

  • We require proof of the following vaccinations for dogs (or titers) prior to your arrival: Distemper Combo, Rabies and Bordetella. Puppies under 6 months of age are allowed only by prior approval and they must be fully vaccinated!

  • We require the following vaccinations for cats prior to boarding: Rabies and FVRCP.

Vaccination information can be emailed to jean@k9carecamp.com

Regarding Kennel Cough

Kennel cough does not have one individual cause. There are often multiple infectious agents that are working at the same time to infect your dog.

One of the most common causes is a bacteria known as Bordetella bronchiseptica. Due to this cause kennel cough may also be referred to as Bordetella. However, this bacteria may work with a virus such as canine distemper or canine parainfluenza. Both are problematic for your pet as they weaken the animal’s immune system and affect both the dog’s voice box and windpipe.

Dogs often develop clinical signs associated with kennel cough 3-4 days after exposure to a large number of other dogs (e.g., at a boarding facility, shelter or dog show), but it may take up to 10 days. Dogs may also experience mild symptoms after receiving the vaccine.

While there is currently no way to completely protect your pet from kennel cough due its airborne qualities, we will make every effort to ensure the health of your pet. K9 Care Camp has a strict sanitation policy that includes the disinfecting of our play areas, toys and kennel rooms. We wash all of our stainless steel water and food bowls with high heat.  After each use, we wash and dry all blankets, and disinfect the beds.

K9 Care Camp goes above and beyond industry standards to ensure our guests leave our facility happy and healthy,
